    Need to move him out
I am currently in a relationship where I know its not going anywhere. My boyfriend has been living with me for approximately 2 months and receives one or two pieces of mail in his name to my address.

I am the only one on the lease outside of my children. I know, because he has mail coming here, he has established residency, but I wanted to know, since he has an apartment with his name on the lease elsewhere, do the same rules of eviction apply since he has additional housing?

As of right now, he made it clear he would expect a 30 day notice... mind you he has not paid rent for this month (June) and I suspect he is hiding his money sources. I also know he feels that paying 200 to 300 toward the rent is exorbitant... mind you it originally was 300, and then it magically changed to 200. Because his "financial resources are MIA" in respect to his SSI is supposedly being reviewed for fraud thanks to a reported inquiry, he has advised me they have put stop payment on his SSI. I find this odd, since I always understood SSI would continue until they thoroughly investigated and determined if fraud was present... I may be wrong on that level though.

    Any knowledge on either issue?

    I am in TEXAS.

    Thanks,
    AP

You can evict him even if his rent is paid. He is entitled to a notice of eviction. Go to your local small claims court or magistrate and ask about the procedure; most likely, the clerk will not advise you as to your facts. Check this: Texas Evictions
