I am 21 years old and I have been birth control called loestrin 24 for 6 months. And for about 2 months I have been bleeding between periods. My period always comes on the 15 and just a few days later I bleed heavy. I went to my GYN a few weeks ago and I came out positive for HPV? Could it have progressed into something worse?

Why say go to Doctor if she already has?
But yes, maybe this is a question you should have asked them! Surely they have given you meds for it? There shouldn't be a problem..

I beg to differ with LiLcocoXX... there could be a problem if you were diagnosed with HPV. Time to visit your doctor again.

It could be nothing at all, but could signify that the HPV has progressed to cervical cancer. Either way, this needs to be checked out immediately.
