    Information on Jesus(alaihi salaam)
Not knowing all the proper customs I will try and ask this without offending anyone. The question was brought up on Christianity and I discovered I did not know the answer from the Islamic point of view.

I know you respect Jesus(alaihi salaam) very highly and believe he was a prophet. But I do understand you do not believe he died on the cross as Chrsitians do, but do you have a teaching of what he did, travel some place and grow old ? I just realised while I knew you did not share the cross, I did not know what you traught he did in latter life.

    Fr_Chuck,
    No offended in the least:).

We do not believe Jesus(alaihi salaam) lived to old age,but we believe that he was taken up to heaven before he was crucified.
And that he is still in heaven until his return to earth in the later times.

Ahmadiyya (Urdu: احمدیہ Ahmadiyya), is a name used for two religious communities that arose out of Islam towards the end of the 19th century, originating with the life and teachings of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (d. 1908) from Qadian, in Punjab, India. Members of these communities call themselves Ahmadi Muslims.

That Jesus, contrary to mainstream Islamic belief, was crucified and survived the four hours on the cross. He was later revived from a swoon in the tomb.[34] Ahmadis believe that Jesus died in Kashmir of old age whilst seeking the Lost Tribes of Israel.[35] Jesus' remains are believed to be entombed in Kashmir under the name Yuz Asaf. Ahmadis believe that Jesus foretold the coming of Muhammad after him, which Christians have misinterpreted.[36]

That's pure Bull! Both Christians and Moslems believe that Jesus did not die but was raised to heaven.
Don't believe those Cow-worshipping nitwits! They don't speak arabic and therefore cannot understand the Coran, anyway!

Mr. Mussy: What you just posted was so unnecessary. There are many Christians and Moslems that read the Koran. Most Christians no matter who they are or what they believe, respect other religions, and what the other person believes.
God gave us the intelligences to research, dig, and open are minds to further are knowledge to almost everything in the world. Anger towards man because they don't believe or think like you do does not make your statement right??

The Holy Qur'an made us to belief that jesus was not crucified as was told in the bible. Allah says ---we made it to appear like he was crucified to them----. This is the authentic and true information about Jesus. However if you check the Gospel According to St Banarbas (a book that was not counted as among the books in the bible by the church). The detailed life history that the rev Fr is looking for is exposed therein
