Father not allowed to see his kid
Ok so my husband had another child with this woman when they were 14 and she's taken the child and he doesn't know where she is.But about 2yrs ago she had found out that I had given birth to my daughter and asked him for childsupport. And something happened and few days ago that's now making him think to sign over parental rights.I was told that, that can only be requested by the mother. But what if the mother states that their daughter told her that she wants nothing to do with him. Does that even matter. Please help!!

First as a 1000 posts here have told, signing over his rights does not stop child support, so he can sign them over ( maybe) but he will still have to pay his child support. So he gains nothing.

If the other women has a new partner that wants to adopt, then if he signs over his rights, the child support ends.

So what he needs to do ( well what he needed to do years ago) was to get court ordered visits and use them and if she did not let him visit, take her back to court.
What he can do now is be sure he pays the correct child support and get visits if he wants them
