    When changing from a 60 amp service to a 200 amp service do I need to get my whole house re-wired?

    No, this is just a service change. It does not affect the wiring outside the panel box, other than re-feeding it from new breakers.

    No.. it means you can get more power out of it.. and install additional devices, lights.. etc. No adjustments are needed.
