I have a Whirlpool Kenmore 2.1 cu. ft. Compact Portable Top Load Washer. While using it today, as it was half way through the draining process it suddenly stopped and all the lights on the display lit up. When I pressed the start button again it began to drain slowly. It did a slower than normal spin then filled again for the rinse and did the same slow drain and slow spin a second time. At the end of the wash I noticed there was some lint coming out of the drain spout. Also there was water left in the washer. Is this something I can fix and how?

Remove the drain hoses and check for obstrucion
