I have another PC. It's a bit better then this one I'm using. However it won't let me get on the web. I've tried system restore. Didn't work. I've tried turning off my fire wall. Didn't work. Soon I'm going to try and throw it against the wall unless someone has a better idea. Thanks for reading. Dave

Lol good reply. Right OK here we go. I click on internet explorer icon, a blank page comes up, then it says it has to close sorry for inconvience, send error report. Is this any clearer. I look forward to your reply

OK couple of possibly silly ideas.
Is it plugged into the network/internet router and how do you share the connection ?
Make sure ALL of the network cables are properly seated, or even swap them with the other machine as you know this is good.
While you are looking at hardware, are there flashing lights on the network card that show activity.

Thanks for your reply. I don't share the connection I just put this PC on instead of the other one. There is an internet connection it just doesn't allow me to get on it. Hmmm a real head scratcher this one

Hello my problem is with the internet explorer I've down loaded the new internet explorer 8 beta to my computer hoping that would fix it but the computer freezes every time I click on it this also happens on all the other versons of explorer I can get on the net but I have to use bt Yahoo could it be the bt browser causing the problems help
