    Married felons
I married A felon. And after six months of being married I caught a felony. The parole authority is telling me and my husband is not to have contact because we r both felons is this legal?

As far as I know it is. Their thinking is that two criminals shouldn't have contact because there is a larger risk of them committing another crime if they are together. Time to get your act together, and for you husband to concentrate on his life too. Be happy you got parole, if you were both in jail you wouldn't see each other either.

Unfortunately they are correct. Until you are off probation or parole you should not associate or live with each other under the same roof. A friend of mine had the same problem and actually went to jail as she violated her probation by living with her long term boyfriend who was a felon. She had to live at a different address until she was off probation. You may want to ask your attorney about this as well.

    Hello:

There is a difference between a long term boyfriend and a spouse. In MY humble opinion, they can't separate a married couple. That doesn't mean they won't try, as they're doing here. I'd visit with a good lawyer...
