    Credit Card Payment
    Hi ,
Been Divorce now 2 1/2 years now.In the 26 marriages a credit card was used.
Stopped using the card and paying the payments going thur the divorce.
I did mention to the card company about this, and the card was never used again.
    At a balance of $8000.
A year later we were being sent to court.
Ive gotten ahold of the attorney to stop the court date,And set up a pay plan of 100.00
    Amonth.
At this time it was 10,200.They stop trying to collect from my ex,And put it all on me.
Even though they have his address. Ive been paying a 100.00 for 14 months now,
And now they say I own 10,700.Im now paying 150.00 amonth,Ex nothing.
They say I have no agreement with them now, Even know Im sending more.
Should I go to court on this? Why do they keep added,When Im paying.
    Help!

Do you have a written agreement on the payment plan? If not, then you are not paying enough to cover the interest, so the balance keeps rising. As long as you are a co signer on the card they can come after you for the whole amount. You have to get them to agree to a payment plan that freezes the balance so no interest is added

    Hi scott,
They stopped taken me to court.
And been taken the 100.00 for that long.
Im sure if I have the agreement or not.
    They should have a copy.
Why would they stop taken me to court?
    It should have stopped then.
Would it help to get the ex to pay if we went to court?
    Im paying on 2,Him 0.
    Thanks!

Was this credit card debt addressed in the divorce decree?

If it was not, there is little you can do.

If it was, and he is in violation of the decree, contact your attorney and take him back
    Before the Judge.
