As I get older (48) My skin tone has become very uneven. What is a product that might help. And won't break me? It also is dull. Any help

Around your age most do start to suffer from uneven skin tone. Try Bio Claire's lotion. It is really cheap but works. Be sure to just apply the lotion to the affected area. And also exfoliating your skin once or twice in a week will really help brighten your face. Another good product for uneven skin tone is from DHC. The product is called a-arbutin. And be sure to use a sunscreen at all times as the sun doesn't help much.
