    Backing out of a contract.
I understand you have three days to back out of a contract.Does anyone know or could give a link where I could print this out for small claims court? It must be a federal or state website.

    Your statement is false.

At least if you live in the US.

The only such time exists only if the contract was signed someplace other than where the business is located.

For example, if you sign a contract in the store, you have no grace period to change your mind, it is binding the moment you place your signature on it.

If on the other hand, the sales person comes to your house, and you sign there, this is when you have a period to retract the contract.

To add to progunr's response, if there is any right to back out of the contract it has to be clearly stated somewhere in the contract, usually either at the very top or right near the signature lines.

If the contract does not allow for it to be backed out, then it can not, what type of contract is it, where was it signed, was money paid
