    Limited or no connectivity
    Hi All
    I have a desk top computer and a wireless laptop. I have set up the router which is all set up fine, desktop working fine but now wireless is saying limited or no connectivity. I have taken off firewall and tried repair which now says problem renewing your ip address. I have also set laptop back to factory settings... can someone please help me thanks

    Try to power down the router and/or the modem for like 2 minutes. Then plug in just the modem first if you unplugged it. Let the lights to to their normal pattern then plug in the router until it goes back to its normal pattern and then try again. If still not internet see what the ip address is. If it is something like 169.254..? Then do this

    1. Click Start, click Run, type netsh winsock reset catalog, and click OK.
    2. Click Start, click Shut Down, and click Turn Off.
