The black soil you buy at Lowe's at $1.29 a bag. Does that have any nutrients.
Or should you add them to this soil??

Depends on what you are doing with the soil. If overcasting your lawn to amend what you have its probably fine but for flowers you might want a potting soil. Much of the soil sold really cheap is simply black dirt removed from virgin soil before construction.
