    Severe groin pain
For quite a while I had an urgency to urinate, at times it would wake me up in the middle of the night. The urgency was then combined with pain in my penis and I decided to attention. I sought medical help and was prescribed antibiotics - after several visits to different physicians and blod and urine tests that all resulted negative - for an infection in my prostate. The physician said it was swolen prostate and to take this antibiotic for a month.

Now with one day left on my antibiotics the pain has been limited to a few times. However I have recently begun to feel pain in my groin and down my leg into my knee. The leg pain feels something like the growing pains you feel as a child, but the groin pain is quite bad, specially when I am sitting down.

Some things that might help make this clearer could be my recent iguinal hernia operation exactly a year and two months ago and my weak groin. I have played sports my whole life and as a young boy I injured my groin (15) and since have a very weak right groin. I hope this is enough information, thanks.

If you are still having problems please go back to the physician who saw you before and tell him about your symptoms. Groin pain is not to be ignored especially since you've already had problems in that area. There may be more things wrong that he was not aware of or just now surfaced in that area.
