Problems with a Senao EOC-3220 EXT
    This one is a goody!

I thought it would be simple to buy the above unit plug it into the back of my Netgear DG834PN and Uncle Bob becomes a close relation with extended WIFi signal.

What actuallly happened was I plugged it into a laptop to setup and went to the browser page built into the unit told it I wanted it to be an access point and then set the fixed IP address to DHCP

It accepted this but now I can't get to the browser page on any IP address can anyone help to get me back in e.g. is there a manual factory reset inside the box?

The AP is sending out a signal but I can't connect to it, no security is set, and the LAN connection says its fine but it don't work!!

Can you remote into your router and look at what range your DHCP server is handing out addresses? Another way to tell is to go to a CMD prompt and run IPCONFIG /ALL and see what address your computer has. Ping the addresses nearest that one and see if you get an answer. If so, browse to that address.

There is usually a small reset button on the back of most routers and access points nearest the power plug. Pull the power, press the reset button and plug in the power. Hold the reset for about 5 seconds and release it. This should reset your access point.
