2 metal bottle caps flushed down accidentally
Hello. I have a problem. My toilet just overflowed on the floor, and I think I know why.
Yesterday a certain genius I know had peanut shells and a couple bottle caps in a bowl, and decided to throw 'em in the toilet instead of the traditional method- the trash.

I am a little upset, and not sure what the best way to unclog this mess. I would rather go about it without the use of a plumber.. any suggestions on fixing it myself?

    Thank you!:o

Bottle caps and peanut shells could cause a blockage but they don't have much sticking power. Try plunging and if that doesn't work you can use a toilet auger.

Go down to your local hardware store and purchase a closet auger, (see image) Auger the bowl and flush your problem away. Good luck, Tom
