    Clogged up pipe in basment
    My sewer is backing up in my cellar I had a guy come out with a snake and he couldn't get the clog to budge he thinks it is a rock if it is a rock is there anyway to remove it with out tearing up all the pipes and my road.

    If it were actually a rock that would mean your pipe is broken and needs to be dug up. Before doing that I'd call around and see if any other plumber has a SeeSnake, a rodder with a camera. It may cost you $250 but it may be worth it.

    If he4 hit a place the snake wouldn't pass I would think broken pipoe before I would think rock. We don't fill our trenches with rocks. Run the snake out again and mark the spot on the cable wher it hung up. You can then kay the cable outside on the lawn following the sewer and you will have a general idea of where to start digging.
