Umm, I don't see how this can be done. It's going to get crushed, etc... why don't you just send her the recipe?

You can't send a pizza through the mail. The toppings will have to either stay hot or cold to a certain temperature or bacteria will develop.

Does she live near a good pizza place, that you could send her one from there?

Unfortunately hun, you can't mail a pizza you made at home. Can you call a pizza parlor in her area and have one delivered for her birthday?

As very strange as it sounds, it is possible but very very costly. They ship everything from hamburgers, to chicken to every food I can think of from famous places

The issue is it would have to be prepared to be baked or baked then frozen to be heated back, it would have to be put in special contianer and shipped on dry ice and shipped on a overnight or 2nd day air at the longest time. So you are most likely looking at a several hundred dollor pizza,

Contact local Italian restaurant and see if they can make a custom made pizza and deliver, I bet they can but it may cost you $20-25, which in my opinion, is much cheaper than sending it via overnight UPS or FedEx...

Yesterday, I mailed one page letter via FedEx's standard overnight from CA to Chicago, it costs $31.

Mailing a letter is totally different than mailing food.
