    Payroll and deductions
How much money will be deducted from a $760.00 salary claiming one dependent?

You did not provide enough information, however making some assumtions as:If you are employed by a regular company (not self employed) in the US, the salary is weekly, you are single, claiming yourself, then $152.14 will be deducted from $760.00 (6.2% for FICA, 1.25% for Medicare and $94.00 in withholding)

The amount of $760.00 was bi-weekly not weekly. I think the amount you quoted of $154.00 may be wrong.

Honestly there is no way for anyone here to tell you exactly what will be deducted. There's federal taxes, state taxes, local taxes, healthcare, retirement, disability insurance, life insurance, medical flexible spending accounts... tons of stuff that could be included. We have no idea where you live, or what you're signed up for.
