I wonder if anyone can tell me which ones (on IMDb) have Lionel Barrymore in a
major (or starring ) role, and which are really riveting.
(If Lionel Barrymore is in a film at all, I'm certain that it is a very good one!)

However, I'm limited at this time in my choices, so I would apppreciate learning which
of his films are equal to or better than "SWEEPINGS"(1933).

Barrymore films. Choux's answer was helpful, although I had already seen
IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE. (This is a wonderful movie, and I believe it is a classic!)
