I'm 16 and I have rescently had the "implamon" contreceptive implant put in my arm about just over a month ago, for about 2 weeks now I have had a brown period which is very light and I am wondering what this could mean ?

Some people will have spotting or bleeding for quite awhile... meaning weeks or months and then it subsides. Others it works very well for from the start with no bleeding at all. If the bleeding continues, check with your doctor as they may decide to combine it with another form of birth control to try and correct the bleeding. As with any form of birth control, especially when introducing hormones, there will be pros and cons, and individuals will experience different potential side effects... sometimes it is just a matter of finding what combination or amount works for each person.
