If you sell your car but did not get proof of sale and do not know person who bought it how can you get your name removed from the title?

Did you sign over the title? How can you not know who bought it?

Do you mean selling your car to a used lot, or dealership and not knowing buyer ? You have to hand your ownership over and they have it transferred to whoever buys the vehicle.
