    Trying to move too fast
I was with my ex for 8 years and we split up over 3 years ago. I stayed completely single all up until I met my current man about 5 months ago. Things were moving way too fast so he decided he needed some time. I recently found out that I am pregnant by him. We are currently friends and I'm not sure it's going to change. He still wants to hang out with me, calls everyday, and hugs me. He reassures me that he won't leave me all alone. Today, he asked if I was okay with him coming over to watch movies. I think that he does want to be with me, but I scared him by moving too fast. Every time I ask him where we stand he tells me that he needs time to understand all of this. He was in a horrible relationship before me. Is he showing signs that we may have a future together? What can I do to get him over the fear of me moving too fast? I now see that I was due to just wanting to be happy and really regret it.

You have a future together with that baby, should you choose to put the rest of your life on hold and raise it. That is what you KNOW.

Everything else is still up in the air. You can't force someone to love you, but at least he sounds like he will be involved with the baby.

That may have to be enough.

GOING TOO FAST? You think you're going to fast NOW with him? LOL, honey, you're pregnant by him. The "going too fast" horse has left the barn long ago. Now you have to live in the house you built.
