Hi I'm new to the site and would like an outside opinion regarding an individual I would basically, like out of my life!
I've know the person in question for about 2 years and we met through work.
I thought he was OK when we first met as we had things in common and he seemed like a genuine person, but as time went on I started to notice things about him that I didn't like.
I first noticed that he has a bit of a drink problem; he can't have a drink without getting extremely drunk. He's also incredibly cheeky and is not ashamed to ask for anything. I have never met anyone as hard faced. He also seems to rely on and use other people, which usually ends up being me.
I thought I'd got rid of him recently as he has left the job where we worked together. Unfortunately he has just moved into my street and lives about 300 yards away from my house. I can't get rid of this guy he's like a bad smell. He rings me all the time and always wants to come around to my house or join me in whatever I'm doing for the day. He's also made himself a member of my gym so I have to train with him as well.
Although he works he always seems to be skint and he never seems to have anything good going on in his life. It's obviously convenient for him to be my friend as I have things like Sky TV, Broadband and other things he can take or use. We have fallen out on numerous occasions but just when I think he's gone for good he'll come around again and apologies or worm his way around you again. I'm sick to death of this individual taking me for granted and using me all the time. I've even tried avoiding him and not answering my phone but he'll just come around to my house uninvited. He also owes me quite abit of money which I'm probably going to find hard getting back.
The problem is I'm not very good at dealing with confrontation as I usually start to over react and get angry. Apart from hitting this guy over the head with something and burying him in my back garden(that's a joke). I just wondered if there is anyone who could advise how I can go about getting this person to leave me alone.
