I can't remember very much about the movie just a few scenes. It has two children in it who discover a genie of some type who lives in the sand and grants one wish per day. And he is the last of his kind because water kills them. Only thing else I remember is that in one scene he says that when he was last asked to grant a wish it was for a brontosaurs for breakfast. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I looked it up for you, and I think you might be talking about the sand fairy movies. It has Five kids who stumble upon a fairy living in the sand and they make a wish every day that ends at sundown.
The names of the Movies are the Five Children and It, and the Return of It.
