    Bubbling toilet
I just moved into a two story apartment. I noticed that when the people above flush their toilet, I can hear the water run down and my toilet bubbles up. This sometimes throws out a little bit of water. The apartment complex has had plumbers come out twice, but I still have the same problem. Any ideas. Thanks

Your building has a partial blockage in the sewer main. Let me explain. When the neighbors flush, the discharge races down the vertical stack and hits the blockage and bounces back sending a bubble of air ahead of it. That's where your bubble comes in. A partial blockage can only get worse and if it clogs up completely then all your neighbors sewage will end up in your apartment. Your plumbers should have known this. Before they left the job they should have checked your toilet after flushing the upstairs one. That would have told them that there was a blockage that they missed. Call them back. Good luck, Tom
