The movie is about a guy that is in medical school and his old father moves with him into his apartment; then he meets a girl and they get married. They take his father to live with them and he wants to take care of the kids. There is a funny scene when they cook a cake and I think that the old man falls a sleep and they almost burn the house. They have two kids and at the end the girl dies and the both guys are left alone like in the beginning but I watch it long time ago and I haven't been able to find it. The guy and the girl are both doctors and they move to a big city because the guy gets a job there.
