Having trouble loading Southwest Airlines. All other pages load fine except Southwest. I have never had a problem and have visited the site frequently on a daily basis. All of a sudden page is extremely slow to load.

if you suspect that a website is having a problem then you can ANALYZE the performance of that webpage. A good free tool to do so is found at Web Performance Monitoring (like it scales, or it doesn't scale)...

Here's ITscales performance review of Southwest's site.

If you think your internet speed sucks, then test it out.
    SpeedTest.net - cool GUI.
    Speakeasy's internet speed test.
    2wire.com's speed test

    Some thoughts about testing:
    1) DSL is usually CONSISTENTLY the same speed. Cable IS NOT; If your neighbors are all on the web at the same time, you'll get worse speeds with Cable.
    2) Try the speed tests out (use the CLOSEST testing center)... DO IT 2x. ONe time with your machine plugged DIRECTLY into your modem. One Time WITH your router between your machine and the modem... When I did this, I found out that during DAYTIME I get (with Comcast's BLAST service; $70/month for internet only) an AMAZING 30MB of throughput... that's like 18 T-1 lines... but the ROUTER that I had could only handle 10MB max. I sold the router on eBay and bought a new one.
