    Passport appearance
    Dear Sir,
I have a passport with validation of 20 years. The passport was made in 1998 and the expiry date is in the year 2018. Now the problem is that the photo and the signature is 10 years older, so will this create any problem for migration. I am going to UK in the month of July as a student. So will you please guide me in this and also suggest me to take steps if I need to make any changes. Thank you.

Your country gives 20 yr passports? WOW.

Most countries only have problems with passports that ONLY have 6mo before they expire.

As long as you look something like the photo on the passport, you'll be fine.

No problem... you need to have passport that is valid for at least six months.
If your passport expires while you're abroad, you can have it renewed at the nearest embassy.

Contact the nearest consulate. As a matter of fact, you should know better if the passport is genuine or not.
