I need to install a 220 volt dryer oulet in my home, none present now (gas only).
Slab foundation / attic accesible / walls must remain intact.
I am trying to get a ballpark figure on the cost of installation.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

With the information provided I'd say between $300-$1800.
How far from the breaker box do you have to go, the further you go, the larger size wire, Also is there room for a 220 breaker in the box?
I would not be enough sure to gibe you an exact answer but if I were you id drop by your loacal Lows or Wal-Mart. Good luck
I am sorry, what in this green earth does Walmart or Lowe's have to do with running a new 220 volt circuit. They don't sell the wire, they don't sell the breakers, and I doubt any of their clerks know how to run the wire?Quote:

Sorry, keep forgetting, we do commercial, nothing in the home, our last run was 300 ft and we had to go up to #8 wire.
Well it could be a really "big" house?
Good to see someone being honest!Quote:
