I want to know if I was claimed as a dependent on someone's taxes to see if I can get my tax rebate stimulius check.

Did you earn any money in 2007 for starters?

And if you were the dependent, the check would be to the people who filed that paid for your care ( isn't it)

Dependents will not get the rebate. Who ever claimed you dependent will not get extra for you as you are over 16 in 2007. You may get rebate when you file your 2008 tax return and become eligible.
