    Aftermath of Broken Waste pipes
Just repaired broken castiron pipes under the house and pumped out a lot of grey water. Now as the dirt tends to dry we are having a problem with the smell still! It is a mildue/raw sewage smell. We heard of dropping cat litter down but I wanted some other advise before trying that. Please help!!

Quick lime would probably do a much better job as it actually kills the bacteria left from actual sewage. Just hit a garden center or a hardware store and ask for quick lime they should have it. Just apply it and leave it it will be absorbed by the soil over time. GOOD LUCK, AC
