    Chapped lips
My brother was visiting me in italy about 6 months ago. We went to rome, and as soon as we got on the train, I realized I left my chapstick at home. We were there for three days. I couldn't find any tabaccheria's or stores that sold chapstick. I also have a horrible habit of licking my lips and then biting when they start cracking, which makes it all much worse. So by the time I got home, my lips were in so much pain. Anyhow, after applying the carmex, my lips mostly healed all except for one spot. I had been biting in this spot more so than any other. It scabs, gets hard, I wait a couple weeks to see if it will heal, but it doesn't, and I end up biting at it again, biting the scab off, and the whole procedure starts all over again. So my question is... does anyone know of any kind of medicated chapstick or lip balm I can use to heal my lip? There isn't any pain or anything, but I would really like for it to heal. Thanks

The only way it can heal is if you stop biting.
Maybe by a lipbalm that tastes horrible so it doesn't tempt you to bite?

    Oww.

I don't have a super definite answer, but I know there's stuff that they put on your nails to stop nail biting habits, maybe some of that?
Of course, that would make whatever you eat taste terrible.

Maybe you should write on your hand "DONT BITE" and every time you try to bite think about your hand and pinch yourself? That always what I do to stop bad habits.

    Good luck (:
