Dad wanting to be part of new born daughters life
I was recently engaged to my daughters mom but since march we have broke up. She was 34 weeks pregnant with are daughter. She was born may 2. I got to see her for about half an hour before she told me to leave and then for about an hour on the 3rd of may. She has been out of the hospital since May 4 and I have not seen my daughter. She refuses to give me time with her cause she is nursing, I ask for her to pump and she refuses saying doctors said not to pump till daughter is 3 months old. Her other reason is cause if she pumps the mild will dry up. I know both of these are false I have talking to OB nurses. I am a good dad I also have an 8 year old son whom I see every other weekend. My other problem is that I believe is putting my daughter in a bad situation. Her new man I don't know much about, but I do know he is an ex convict and has done time, not sure how long or anything but I know he has a wrap sheet don't know what is all on it. I do have lawyers working on this and hopefully it won't take long but it sure doesn't seem to be going very fast. I am missing out on a lot. Her mom got those first pictures the hospital offers I know this cause I have seen it but she has not told me about it or offered me any pictures. My daughter looks exactly like my son when he was born only difference he had blonde hair and my daughter has dark hair with a red tint to it she is a beautiful little girl who I miss very much

At this point there is nothing you can do but let the lawyers work on it.

This is a sad thing that you are going through. It is a good thing that you got a lawyer involved. Have you asked them if there is any law that permits you to see her before a court order is in place?
