It doesn't matter how much it costs, they all make you look orange. Have you seen any orange women wondering around yet thinking they look super cool. I have, and they don't! Look at it this way, you can go to a tanning salon and pay by the minute, self tanners cost up to $30. (here in Canada. US manufacturers still don't realize our dollar is worth more then US). So if you go to a tanning salon you can get a pretty decent tan for $30 that looks real, if you are diligent and wait through the base coat time. By the way, tanning salons should provide a list of meds that are not compatible with tanners, so if you are on any, ask for the information.

I have used tanning salons off and on for a number of years and they are really quite good now. Pick one that belongs to a chain, they are the absolute best buy and safest and have the best tanning beds.

I tan easily but don't overdue it anymore, can't avoid the sun because I jog, walk and spend time in the garden, so am quite dark by July. You can do that to with all the lovely suntan lotions on the market today that are UV safe. Read the label or look up on the net for your UV level according to your skin type. Good luck and happy sunning!
