Acting schools, auditioning for community productions, drama departments in community colleges, move to an acting town like New York or Los Angeles.

Go to film schools and meet some film students, offer to do free work on their film projects.

How expansive would an acting school cost?

It doesn't matter what things cost. If you set a life goal, you gather the information on how to attain your goal and you attack.

Start calling around your area or looking online and find the info yourself. Once you know where you want to go, find the money and do it. Deliver pizzas if you have, mow lawns, whatever you have to do. Get 'r done.

The best way to do this is to find some acting or modeling jobs in your area (public theatre, paid jobs if you can get them), call an agent, ask the agent to come and see you, see if you get signed, see if the agent has advice.

Beware of acting/modeling schools and agents who charge up front.

There's a lot of fraud out there.

NYC is good, LA (obviously is good but a mob scene), Toronto is a good avenue.
