IN PA, no power of attorney requires the need for guardianship. How does this begin?
My father had a stroke and failed to have power of attorney document executed. He is now unable to execute such a document and we need to be able to make financial decisions for him. In pennsylania, how does the process work for gaining guardianship? In aaddition to a doctor written letter saying that he impaired, what else do I need? Who would I contact to begin th eprocess without retaining a lawyer? What court and how does one go about getting a court date?
