As for as the brushing of the teeth, have you tried gargle with salt water before you brush, it often helps with the gag reflex.

As for as the fatigued, headaches, sick at your stomach, could be any of 1000 things from pregnant to food allergy to stress. A doctors visit would be the best thing

    Have you switched toothpastes lately?

Often it's the foaming action of the toothpaste that makes one feel gaggy when brushing (gagging is always worse in the morning). You don't need toothpaste to clean your teeth, it's the brush action doing the cleaning. Try just using a wet toothbrush and follow with a mouthwash to freshen your breath. If you have a history of a lot of cavities, use a mouthwash that has fluoride in it.

As for the way you feel the rest of the day, I agree with Fr_Chuck, have a thorough physical done by your physician.

Yeah... definately get an exam. Could you possibly be pregnant? I remember once a woman told me that her worst part of the day when she was expecting was brushing her teeth, she couldn't stop gagging.

When this happened to me, it was just after I found out I was pregnant. Never went away even after the baby.
