My son will not graduate from middle school if I can't help him, and I mean NOW...
Here's the problem:
3x/10=3/5

Am I right when I think you go like this: 5(3x)=10(3)
so, then its: 15x=30
and then: x=2??
Even if this is right, he is supposed to do a CHECK on each problem, and it loses me
there... Can't for the love of God figure out how they do CHECKS... boy, do I not like
this homework... IT SUX... : ( HELP ME OUT HERE? PLEASE PEOPLE! I'm ready to
let him just stay back a year because I'm tired of trying to figure this out... WATCH, this is
what I think you should do, but it never comes out right... :
3(2)/10=3/5
6/10=3/5
SEE?? That doesn't come out the same... what the heck are you supposed to do?

They do checks by taking the answer you got, 2, and reinserting it into the original problem. So you'd have 5(3(2))=10(3) and therefore

5(6) = 10(3)
30 = 30
