    Grandparent right
Hi I know you can't give me the answer to a judge but my b/fs mother is taking me to court for grandparent visitation and I thought that they really don't have any rights to the grandchild... his mother doesn't like me and she blocked every number I can call from and said if I called again she would call the police on me... the father sees his daughter all time so he doesn't need visitation... do you think she will get the visitation based off what intold you so far? :(

To answer the question about where I am I live in south plainfield New Jersey which is middlesex county... and I know in some states they do allow grandparent visitation but they don't just give it to anybody I mean I have given you reasons about why I don't allow my daughter over there so I mean based on that what would you think the courts would do?

It completely depends on what state you are in. Some states like Indiana and a few others grandparents have lots of rights and can sue to get them and are successful in their attempts. Other states don't recognize the same laws so until we know where you are there isn't anything anyone can say for sure.

No. I believe that she has virtually no claim as long as her son (the father) is living and exercising his rights; sounds like a mother/son issue behind all of this.
