I have a celing fan with a light, i bought a new switch because fan did not work9three speed) i hooked it up but now the light works but fan does not. There are two yellow wires and one black wire and one whithe wire from the switch. There are two yellow wires and two black wires coming from fan. How do i make it work.

2. Are we talking about a pullchain switch or a wall switch?
3. If it's a wall switch, what make/model is the old wall switch?
