Should exterior plumbing vents be at least 3 ft above operable doors and windows?

Standard Plumbing Code say 2 feet above any ventilation opening, door or window, nor shall any such vent terminal be within 10 feet horizontally of any such opening. Regards, Tom

It is far more desirable to terminate the vent above the roof line. Can you tell us more about what you are doing? Thanks, Bob
