Hi I was wondering If Ill get caught If I leave state for a week while on Diversion without permission? I turned in all the paperwork needed to get permission but was told she never received them. I just don't want to get to the airport and get arrested. The plane ticket was a gift to see my best friend. I don't know what to do :confused:

Do you really want to take the chance? Can you change the date for 50 bucks or something and hand the permission papers to the right person personally instead of just handing it in? Now that they know you asked permission and things got screwed up, then they could have a reason to look into it further. If it were me, I would not go. The consequences are way to high. I would change the date on the ticket and go then;) good luck seeing your friend!

No one has any way of knowing if you'll get caught unless they can see into the future - obviously.

If you don't have permission to leave and you get caught, you'll violate and that will be the end of diversion.

Depends if it's on the computer or not and you won't know that until you get there and get back - if you do get there and get back.

This is why the Courts deny diversion and put people in jail - because they know the rules and can't follow them.
