    Trouble with washer draining.
I live in the city. I noticed that when I wash clothes that the drain water comes up in the bathroom tub and also the toilets. Is there anything that I can do to fix this? Can I use some draino or something in the washer drain? Thank you...

I am no fan of putting harsh chemicals down into your drainage system. They never seem to work except in TV commercials. You have a blockage downstream from the bathroom. To clear this you must snake out the drain line from the washer roof vent or the lavatory roof vent in the bathroom that's backed up Send the snake down the vent until you hit the base and then put out about 20 foot more. Good luck, Tom
