Having a baby with your best friend who is married
:( I had a baby with my best friend who is married. My child is 2 and he just told his wife. He told her that it is only possible that my child is his. The child looks just like him and deep down he knows the child is his. He wanted a paternity test at 1st and the was undecided. I said I wanted it so he can never deny my child. I have filed the paper work requesting the dna test. The wife has recently left him with their kids. I think we messed up and now we have to take responsibility. I want to know what are her legal rights in this case and what are mine when it comes to my child with him.

I'm confused about your. If the child is YOURS, she doesn't have rights concerning the child. He will have parental rights if the child is his. But she won't. And you'll have parental rights obviously.

She's probably going to get custody of THEIR kids, and you'll probalby get custody of YOUR kid.

And your friend is going to have a HUGE child support bill.

Well, you know your child will get child support if it's his (and you pursue it)...
Her rights? Are you wondering if she will get child support, alimony, some of their shared possessions, could she use this affair to make a case against him in their divorce? Absolutely!

This is a sticky situation I hope you all do what's best for the children involved.
