New mother cat and her kittens
:) Can we move a new mother cat and her first litter of kittens? They are less then 24 hours old
But it is not safe outside . There is a stray cat who had kittens about 8 weeks ago and she is fighting with the new mother cat and Im afraid she will kill thes new kittens. HELP

Well, It is safe to move them if you move them somewhere to where she can't get back to the original spot. So, since she's outside with them right now the best thing would be for you to move them inside. Just take the kittens inside and put them in the middle of the floor and she will move them to where she wants them to be. It will probably be a dark, secluded spot.

If you're moving them inside, by all means, save those little babbies!! I moved my cat and her kittens inside last year and it was fine. If you have to move them somewhere safer outside then do it, I've had a lot of cats have kittens in my day, and I've ended up having to move most of them. But I still say your best bet is to keep the mother and kittens inside, that way you can make sure they're safe.. good luck!!
