Hello, I have a 2 1/2 year old dougther, my only child, since she was a baby she reacted to everything by crying, now as toddler, whe she wakes up she crys for more that 15 minutes for no reason, whenever she needs something she crys, she is very attach to her father he gives her anything, she crys and carries on for him when is time for him to come home, I even have to call him on the phone so she can come down, I don't know what to do, I don't understand what is wrong with her, can you help me?:confused:

You answered your own question my dear: Her father gives her anything.
She's spoiled, love. That's the simple answer. She cries for the one who will give her what she wants. It's a normal behavior for anyone at any age - if doing something gets the result you want, you do it.
Stop calling daddy at work, stop letting daddy give her what she wants. Even if it's just being picked up for a hug. If she's crying for it, don't give in. At 2 1/2 she should be MORE than capable of saying a simple "Daddy hug please" or even just "Daddy hug" without crying.

I'm very sorry, but the only real solution here would be what most people call 'tough love'. And doing it for only a few days or a week won't work. It has to be an instant and permanent change.
She's going to cry louder, and scream harder for it... but only untl she realizes that there are easier ways of getting what she wants - using words and asking nicely.
Baby needs to grow up, and the only people who can teach her that is mommy and daddy. Otherwise she will grow up thinking that everyone will give her what she wants the minute she cries.
