Ello I was wondering if you could help me I have had 5 positive hpt and one negative which was sent of to be tested by the doctor I am due for my period 2moro I have tested early because of 3 early losses and the hospital consultant said no sooner I get a hpt I have to proceed with baby asprin I telephone my midwife up and she said she is going to arrange an early scan to make sure I am pregnant I don't feel like I'm going to get my period and tested 9 days before my period. Has any one else been in the same situation.

It is rare to get a false positive... some fertility meds can cause this. What happens for some women is that they will get an early positive, only to have it become negative when they test again days later. This happens when a confirmed pregnancy doesn't take. It's not uncommon really, and more know about it these days due to earlier testing being possible.

I was just thanking you for your answer I got all the signs of pregnancy and then I had my period today ban on my date I guess this was a chemical pregnancy where you release so much hormone and then test negative and then your period arrives on time I've had one of these before but this time was so real I guess better look next time.
