    GE dryer model DBSR453EB2WW
I am trying to replace the heating element, which I can see is broken (both elements are broken), but I am unable to get the back off the unit, I can get it wedged enough to see the element, but not enough to get in and replace it. How the heck do I get it all the way off??

Can you gently tilt the dryer on its side? Are their bolts to remove the bottom or the front panel?

Do not remove the back. First remove the two screws that retain the top. Next you will see two screws that retain the front on top. Once these screws are removed, lay the dryer on it's back. You will be able to remove the front with a little lift and pull toward top of unit. Once front is removed, release tension on drum belt and remove drum. viola! There is your element
