    Nordyne. E1EB-015HA
Nordyne model E1EB-015HA How do I check the sequencer's and limit switches what are the omh's values or what should be open or closed on the bench, I have the furance and coils on the bench for testing.
Unit blows transformer in service. Was great before I cleaned the cooling coils above the furance. I got water in the furance below. I have cleaned all componets. Suspect the sequencer's or limit switch. There is a short for sure-- it blows the transformer in about 60/90 seconds. AC unit on the outside of house runs for about one minute and shuts down. Heating coils have contiunity no breaks with meter and visiual

IF you can get to the sequencer with enough room for testing voltage and feel comfortable doing so, test across M1/M2, M3/M4 and M5/M6 after waiting 2 minutes from call of heat by t-stat.

You should read 0 vac across all 3 sets and it should remain that way for a few minutes as home warms up

NOTE you have a low voltage short in order for the low voltage transformer to blow. Add a inline fuse to the transformer so the fuse blows during testing and not the transformer.

I would look or sound out all low voltage wires. It could be a short in the wall or a short going to the outside unit.
